Apples from Europe – high quality apples


Baked apples with oat flakes


– 2 apples,
– 4 tablespoons of oatmeal,
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon,
– 2 walnuts,
– 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or cane sugar,
– lemon or lime juice.
Optional: vanilla or vanilla sugar or vanilla beans
Serving proposition: with natural yoghurt


Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Cut the top off the apples, bore out taking care not to cut the edges and skins of apples. Mix the oat flakes with cinnamon, vanilla and put in. Drizzle with lime or lemon juice. Put sliced nuts on top and pour over the syrup or sprinkle with sugar. Cover with the apple “lid” and put into the oven.

Bake for about 30 minutes, but the exact baking time depends on the degree of maturity of the apples, you just need to check.
