Apples from Europe – high quality apples


Apple tart


  • 2200 g flour
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 50 g ground hazelnuts
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 yolks
  • lemon peel
  • For stuffing:
  • 800 g apples – sour varieties are recommended
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 7 tablespoons of liquid honey
  • 100 g almond flakes


Knead the dough using the ingredients listed above. Line the bottom and sides of a tray with the dough. Cover with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes at 200°C. Remove the paper and bake for another 15 minutes at 190°C. Wash the apples, peel them, cut them into eighths, remove the core. Fry the apples gently in butter, sprinkle with cinnamon. Slightly warm up the honey and combine with almond flakes. Arrange the apples on the dough, pour the honey with the almonds and bake for 10 minutes at 210°C. Tart is best served warm with ice cream.
