The “Time for Apples from Europe in Asia” Campaign at Anuga Select India in Mumbai – Visit Our Booth!

Anuga Select India is an exclusive trade fair for the food, beverage, and retail industries. Held in Mumbai—India’s financial capital—it offers world-class infrastructure, rich cultural diversity, and vast business opportunities, making it the perfect venue for networking and collaboration. From August 28 to 30, 2024, visitors will have the chance to meet with manufacturers from all continents, showcasing cutting-edge global technologies across various sectors, including agri-food, gourmet food, dairy, beverages, organic products, meat, bakery, coffee and tea, halal products, and confectionery & snacks.

Campaign Representation at the Trade Fair

As part of the “Time for Apples from Europe in Asia” project, the Association of Polish Fruit Growers has prepared a dedicated booth to promote the campaign. The main goal of attending the fair is to showcase high-quality European apples, including Polish varieties, to the Indian market.

During the event, we will promote European apples among Asian buyers, including those from India. The growing appeal of European apples has led to a dynamic increase in trade between the EU and India. Exports of these apples from the EU to India surged from 7,000 tons in 2014 to nearly 89,000 tons in 2023.

Recently, interest in importing Polish apples has been rising, as they are valued for their freshness and diverse varieties. Several European companies will be representing the industry at the fair, including: Gala Fruit Sp. z o.o., Appolonia Sp. z o.o., Arctic Sp. z o.o., PPH EWA-BIS Sp. z o.o., ACTIV Sp. z o.o., Fruit Family Sp. z o.o.

The “Time for Apples from Europe in Asia” team, along with representatives of the Association of Polish Fruit Growers and Polish exporters, will be available for meetings throughout the three-day event, from August 28 to 30, 2024.
