Apple SPA – home remedy for radiant skin

The most common fruit produced in Europe is apples. Apples are rich in natural acids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, and each apple variety has its own unique benefits. Fruit extracts are very valuable cosmetic raw materials. Apples constitute a source of antioxidants that protect the skin against aging. They even out skin tone and brighten the skin. Apples contain AHA acids, i.e. substances that promote skin exfoliation. Apple extract is used in formulas of exfoliating and skin smoothing products. Thanks to the above-mentioned properties of apples, the skin will look radiant. Apples contain phenolic compounds and vitamin C, resulting in the apple extract having antioxidant properties. Remember to always perform an allergy test before using new skin products. If you are prone to allergic reactions, consult a dermatologist before using any home skin care remedies. Before applying fruit masks, it is worth knowing the following!

  • Before applying the fruit mask, thoroughly cleanse your skin of make-up and impurities, e.g. with micellar fluid or cosmetic milk. The mask will work even more effectively.
  • Perform peeling to remove dead skin cells before applying a mask.
  • Avoid the eye area because the acids in the fruit have irritating properties.
  • It is best to apply the mask in the evening. Scientists believe that this is when the skin absorbs the nutrients contained in the cosmetic better.
  • It is best to wash off the cosmetic with boiled or mineral water.
  • After washing off the mask, wipe your face with tonic and apply a moisturizing cream.
