Once again, Food Africa Fair gathered hundreds of representatives of the food industry from around the world, providing them not only with a place to present high-quality products, but also becoming a unique link with the African market. This year’s edition took place on December 12-14 in Cairo. One of the most frequently visited stands was the exhibition of the campaign “Time for apples from Europe”. During the intense three-day fair, campaign coordinators and accompanying industry representatives not only promoted high-quality European apples at the stand, but also established cooperation with many local entrepreneurs.

A delegation consisting of representatives of the Association of Polish Fruit Growers and European apple producers participated in Food Africa Fair. The campaign stand attracted the attention of many participants, generating huge interest from both European food producers and partners from the region. Importantly, in keeping with the atmosphere of the event many fruitful and significant B2B meetings took place.

Food Africa Fair is an initiative that has been supporting the development of European-African cooperation in the field of fruit import and export for years. Business talks held here constitute a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and observations about the industry on both continents,” said Krzysztof Czarnecki, vice-president of the Association of Polish Fruit Growers.

Fair guests had the opportunity to watch culinary shows and taste delicious dishes with European apples as the main ingredient. Chefs presented ways to use these high-quality fruits in various dishes. Thanks to exceptional snacks, guests visiting the campaign stand had the opportunity to personally experience the excellent taste of apples from the European Union.

Food Africa Fair 2023 turned out to be both a place for industry meetings and a platform for discovering the diversity and potential of European apples. This event once again confirmed that by combining taste, innovation and cooperation, we can effectively reach customers from all over the world.
