Ingredients:

320 g wheat flour
100 g cold butter
100 g icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
beans from 1 vanilla pod (or vanilla sugar)
1 egg
1 flat tablespoon cream 18%
1 kg apples (best ‘papierówka’ type)
100-150 g cane sugar (to taste)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground green cardamom

Mix: flour, butter, icing sugar, baking soda, vanilla and egg. It should make a crumble. Set aside half of it, and to the rest add cream and mix for about 10 seconds. Put baking paper in a baking pan. Spread the dough on it. Heat the oven to 190 ⁰C. Put the pan with the dough in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, grate the peeled apples on a coarse grater. Put the apples in a strainer and squeeze out the juice. Mix the grated apple with spices and sugar.
