Since 2003, Djazagro has been one of the largest agri-food fairs on the African continent.
About 700 exhibitors and over 20,000 visitors participated in this event, and there were professionals from around 30 African countries and from other continents.
The spacious, 50-metre-plus “Time for Apples from Europe” stand drew attention with its decoration - modern, though with a nod to tradition in the raw wood - and, above all, aromatic, beautifully displayed fresh apples and fruit preserves.
For the second time, culinary demonstrations were conducted by one of the most popular chefs in Algeria. More recipes using apples were presented: pancakes with apple filling, apple tart, and apples under an aromatic gingerbread crumble.
